About the role

The purpose of the Individual Giving Coordinator is to make a difference to the caregiving community across New Zealand through using direct marketing and fundraising skills to grow our income and supporter base.

This is an exciting and diverse role - from introducing individuals to the organisation and the work we do - to designing compelling donor journeys for all our supporters, enhancing their commitment and support using multiple channels and technologies.

You will have a direct impact in upholding and bringing sustainable income to the work of our organisation - supporting families and whānau who open their homes and hearts to tamariki in need of care and protection, creating homes that heal.

This role will work with both the Fundraising Manager & Marketing & Communications Manager. Reports to the Fundraising Manager

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years working in a fundraising role, ideally with some experience of individual cash giving programmes e.g. regular giving, acquisition/ lead supply & conversion, P2P etc.
  • Experience and understanding of delivering donor communications, fundraising appeals, and campaigns in a not-for-profit environment.
  • Data analysis, ideally with experience using a donor database product for segmenting and reporting on activity (experience with Fundraiser One would be a real advantage)
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

This role is for 30 hours per week. The salary for this position is $60,000-$65,000 FTE based on skills and experience.
