We are looking to appoint an experienced and capable leader for our Development Team, to oversee the management and reporting of the Institute’s development and fundraising activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in one of New Zealand’s foremost medical research Institutes making a real difference in people’s lives.
To thrive in this role, you will be a natural communicator, able to build and maintain an effective network of relationships with our donors, potential funders and advocates. You will apply your strategic mindset while working with our Head of Development, to build and implement achievable individual giving plans.
You will be an effective communicator with strong networking skills, able to confidently represent the Trust at events and work collaboratively with a diverse range of people across multiple stakeholder environments. You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, likely have a tertiary qualification and desirably worked in the culture, heritage or educational sector.
We are keen to find someone with leadership qualities who can demonstrate at least 3 year’s experience in fundraising and marketing. You will be interested in continuing our current successful fundraising initiatives, and also have the ability to develop new events and sponsorship.
