Fundraising Essentials | Course

This course is a great introduction to the fundraising sector. The course is designed to bring the learner up to speed, if new to fundraising or consolidating fundraising knowledge.

This is a great learning opportunity for new staff in your fundraising team and could ideally be a something everyone completes to ensure everyone is working from the same foundation on knowledge.

The course of five modules, which includes a few exercises at the end of some modules, is deigned to be completed in approximately 5 hours. 1 hour per module. No other resources are required to answer the questions however the learner is invited to write down examples and explanations to questions relating directly to their organisation to give the learner a  thorough understanding of their organisations fundraising history, current position and potential. Fundraising Essentials will also be a pre requisite for the Certificate in Fundraising qualification.

Please note: The course has been created from the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) Fundraising Essentials course and where possible, content has been changed to reflect the New Zealand Fundraising landscape. Once you have downloaded the course, you will need to create an account with CommunityHeart. You will then need to email admin@finz.org.nz to confirm your registration on the CommunityHeart education platform to begin. There is no time limit to complete the course.
