What's the deal with accommodation?
Waipuna are holding limited spaces for FINZ Conference attendees. As spaces are limited, it is recommended you get in early.
Bookings need to be made directly to Waipuna via phone (+64 9 526 3000) or email (email@example.com), using the booking code: FINZ0620
Rate per room per night: $178.25 inc. GST (max. 2 people per room)
Are there Early Bird Prices?
No, this year we are doing one general price for Conference. HOWEVER, if you book before 31st March 2020, you go in the draw to win FREE accommodation at the Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre.
Tell me more about this free accommodation I might win?
Sure! If you book for all three days of Conference and Master Class, you will get two nights of FREE accommodation. If you only book for the two Conference days, you will receive one night of FREE accommodation.
What time do the Master Classes start and end?
On Wednesday, registrations will be open from 8am. Master Classes will run from 9am - 3pm. There will be a Fireside Chat session, starting at 3:15pm. Welcome Cocktail Function will be happening from 4:15pm. We have a New Event happening from 7:30pm - 9:30pm, this is the IFC Storytime, followed by "I Wish I'd Thought of That" with pizza, beer, and bubbles!
What time does Conference start and end?
On Thursday, registrations will be open from 8am. Kick off is at 8:45am with a Powhiri. Sessions will finish at 5pm. Details on the FINZ Awards Dinner below.
On Friday, from 7am-8:30am we have a new event - the Special Interest Topic Breakfast. Otherwise, registration and coffee open from 8am. Sessions begin at 8:45am. The final session will finish at 4pm.
Can you tell me a bit more about the Awards night?
Dinner will start at approx. 6.30pm, with drinks and entrée in the lounge space. This will be followed by a sit-down main course during the award presentations, we will then have a dessert station as part of the disco and after party.
Is there parking?
Yes! There is plenty of free onsite parking is available.
Do we have WiFi access?
Not only is there WiFi on site, it's completely free to use.
What's accessibility like?
This venue is fully accessible for all abilities. If you require a support person, we have capability for them to register and attend for free. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Do you cater for my diet?
We sure do. We will cater for all dietary requirements both at the conference and the awards dinner. Please advise requirements at time of registration and at least 10 days before the event.
What should I wear?
Casual dress code, keep it comfortable for Conference. At the Awards we want to see you a little bit dressy and snappy for Dinner Celebrations.
I can't attend one of the days - is it okay to share my registration with a colleague / friend?
No, there will be no sharing of registrations.
