Volunteer Area Coordinators - Assistance Dogs NZ - Wellington & Tauranga

Assistance Dogs New Zealand Trust provides purpose-trained Assistance Dogs to enrich the lives of New Zealanders living with a disability. 72% of our clients are children and young adults under 20 years old, most of whom live with autism and often multiple disorders.

Our annual appeal is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make it a success! This year our Street Collection is happening nation-wide on Friday 23rd September & Saturday 24th September.

We’re looking for amazing volunteers to become our Area Coordinators for the Wellington and Tauranga regions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning leading up to the event as well as managing volunteers across the two days.

If you’re friendly, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and love lending a helping hand – we’d love to hear from you. To express your interest or find out more, please contact our Communications & Events Coordinator Kendra at
