National Fundraising Manager - Hagar NZ - Christchurch
- 11 September 2023
Listed: 11 September 2023
Salary: $80 - $90,000
HAGAR is an international, faith-based organisation that works with women and children who have survived human trafficking, gender-based violence, sexual exploitation and extreme abuse. Hagar works in Cambodia, Afghanistan and Vietnam, supporting survivors in their recovery and working with governments, officials and communities to bring about change. We also hold significant contracts with the NZ government to deliver services through in-country partners in the Solomon Islands and Myanmar.
We are looking for an established fundraising professional for the newly created role of National Fundraising Manager. Working closely with the Executive Director, North Island Relationship Manager and Communications Officer, you will be responsible for the full gamut of fundraising activity from donor care to events, sponsorship, bequests and major gifts.
We need someone who can hit the ground running, well supported by an Executive Director who has a strong fundraising background and a happy, cohesive team with incredible commitment to the healing and recovery of all people who have experienced trafficking and slavery.
About you
You will need to be an experienced, self-starting, senior fundraiser because you will be expected to drive fundraising for our organisation, be an active participant in the international fundraising group and activity and come up with excellent ideas whilst being able to execute and innovate. You will be supportive of Hagar’s Christian Mission and Principles and be committed to seeing social justice in the world.
