Te tūranga / The role
Mercy Hospice is seeking an Individual Giving Coordinator to join our Fundraising team. Responsible for coordinating donor outreach, stewardship, and solicitation, this role will write and deliver appeals, campaigns and newsletters, coordinate the direct mail process, regular giving and in memory administration, acquisition and retention strategies to achieve fundraising targets.

Ngā kawenga matua o te mahi / Key responsibilities of the role:
- Planning and executing fundraising appeals / campaigns, including coordinating direct mail campaigns and monitoring campaign performance.
- Developing and implementing donor engagement and stewardship activities.
- Maintaining, tracking, and reporting on donor records and data using MH’s CRM system.
- Conducting prospect research to identify and cultivate potential and existing donor relationships.
- Providing administrative support to Fundraising team as required.
Ngā pūkenga e hiahiatia / Skills you’ll bring to the role:
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Communicating confidently and effectively with relevant individuals and groups.
