About the Job

The CFNZ Grants Programme Coordinator is an important role within our fundraising and marketing team. Working in a changing environment this job will see you responsible for:

  • Manage an efficient system for scheduling and tracking proposal and reporting deadlines to ensure timely submission and appropriate follow-up for current funders and new prospects.
  • Relationship management of funders, trusts, foundations, and stakeholders.
  • Research and prepare grant proposals and associated documents for grant applications and reports.
  • Maintain tracking of proposal submissions, timelines, and results.
  • Partner with the CFNZ team to identify opportunities and areas funding areas.
  • Prepare grant materials in a timely manner to meet proposal and reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of CFNZ’s grants portfolio.


About you

This is a job which requires heart, authenticity, passion, and collaboration. In addition, you’ll be:

  • An energetic, positive, and experienced grants or fundraising professional with a minimum of three years’ experience.
  • Have proven experience in the preparation and production of grant applications and accountability reports.
  • Have a proven ability to write compassionately with excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Genuine team player.
  • Open to new ideas and able to operate in an innovative and changing environment.
  • Tech savvy, able to work autonomously, plan and organise your own workload whilst also contributing to the wider team.
  • Experience with Xero an advantage.
  • Legally entitled to work in New Zealand and hold a full driver’s licence.
  • Fully vaccinated, including boosters.
