Fundraising Manager - Hamlin Fistula New Zealand - Nationwide

  • The opportunity to make a real difference for women in Ethiopia
  • Flexibility to work from home anywhere in New Zealand
  • Salary circa $80,000 to $85,000 - depending on experience

About the organisation:

Hamlin Charitable Fistula Hospitals Trust (known as Hamlin Fistula New Zealand) is a Kiwi charity established to raise funds and awareness for Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia to prevent and treat women suffering from obstetric fistula and other childbirth injuries.

Hamlin Fistula New Zealand is dedicated to preventing occurrences of obstetric fistula through providing professional midwifery care for pregnant and labouring women in hospital outreach centres in remote areas within Ethiopia. A midwife is the single most effective means of preventing fistula and reducing infant and maternal mortality. Today, the Hamlin Model of Care is the world’s leading approach to treating fistula and sets out how care is delivered to treat the whole woman, not just her injury. This holism is an essential defining feature of Hamlin Fistula.
