About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will help us drive growth and innovation through digital fundraising campaigns we will run for many of our 20 plus charity clients across Australia and Aotearoa.

This will involve planning for and executing direct response digital marketing campaigns - generating leads for our Tele-fundraisers who will convert them into long-term supporters for our charity partners, as well as developing direct 1-step campaigns that generate immediate support (i.e. charitable e-commerce). We also have in-house content expertise to support you in the development of these campaigns.

This will be new expertise within Public Outreach so you will have the opportunity to be developed into a Senior Manager within 12 months.  In this initial year, you will be provided support and mentoring by internal leadership and additionally, be provided with a budget for external Product Lead and Digital Program consulting, as well as relevant Digital and Tech conferences.

You can work from home, from one of our offices (Auckland and Wellington) or we can create a hybrid model that suits your ideal working environment.


Key Skills

Technical skills and experience

  • Worked in digital advertising, performance marketing or social media marketing
  • Experience in planning and delivering digital campaigns to achieve specified goals
  • Previously tracked, analysed and provided insights into paid digital ad campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google AdWords.
  • Experience setting up digital ad tracking, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels and others.
  • Ability to spot and/or create great digital creative
  • Good knowledge of financial aspects of digital fundraising/marketing including analysis of costs/income, ROI, and conversion
  • Ability to describe complex or technical issues using terms a non-specialist can clearly understand.
  • Understanding of how to communicate across different digital channels, including a deep understanding of all social media platforms.
  • Analyse and report on all digital campaigns
