Corporate Partnerships Manager - Melanoma New Zealand - Auckland

  • Parnell with flexibility for some work from home
  • $100,000 to $120,000 pro rata depending on skills and experience
  • 20 hours
  • Applications will be considered as they are received

For too long New Zealand has been winning the race that no-one wants to win - the worst incidence and death rates of melanoma in the world.

With case numbers projected to increase due to an ageing population and ongoing exposure to high levels of UV radiation, we can’t afford to be complacent in tackling this issue head on.

However, the good news is that most skin cancers are preventable and if recognised and treated early enough, melanoma is almost always curable.

Do you want to be part of a team making a difference and helping to save lives in New Zealand?

As the only charity in the country solely dedicated to this issue, Melanoma New Zealand champions the prevention, early detection and treatment of melanoma for all New Zealanders.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for generating and maintaining corporate partnerships income and activities for Melanoma New Zealand in accordance with an established framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic input into Melanoma New Zealand’s corporate partnerships strategy
  • identifying and cultivating corporate partnerships, including existing leads and new prospects
  • preparing and pitching corporate partnership proposals
  • account and relationship management
  • meeting income targets
  • accurate record keeping and reporting

You will work alongside Melanoma New Zealand’s other Corporate Partnerships Manager who manages a portfolio of other partnerships, as well as with the wider team to ensure each partnership activity is clearly integrated and maximised.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing and stewarding corporate partnerships. You will have strong attention to detail, high EQ, commercial nous and a history of successful account and relationship management. We’re looking for someone who is strategic, articulate, commercially savvy, not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in and able to think on their feet. Not-for-profit experience is preferred but not essential.

This is a permanent, part-time role (20 hours per week), based in Parnell but with flexibility to work from home at times. In line with the experience required for this role, it will be remunerated at a senior level.

Please let us know if there are any reasonable adjustments we can make to help you in your application or with our recruitment process.
