Individual Membership
Individual membership is for individuals working as fundraisers in the not-for-profit or charitable sector. Fundraising is a professional career and in order to succeed and enhance your career development, it is important to belong to your organisational body. FINZ can provide you with:
- Professional development opportunities
- Quarterly magazine
- FINZ on E with Blackbaud e-newsletter
- Monthly learning lunches
- Annual conference
- Awards
- Advocacy
- Mentoring
- Library service
- Code of Eethics
- Code of conduct

There are two kinds of FINZ Individual membership.
- Associate Membership - for those joining FINZ for the first time, who are involved in, or are directly responsible for, the fundraising activitites of a not for profit organisation.
- Affiliate Membership - for those associated with the not-for-profit, fundraising and chairty sectors, but who do not have substantial involvement in, or direct responsibility for the fundraising activities.
To join FINZ as an individual member click on this application form and fill it in.
Organisational Membership
Organisational membership shows your organisation's commitment to ethical fundraising in New Zealand, as well as demonstrating your organisation's commitment to FINZ's Principles and Standards of Fundraising. Your use of the FINZ logo demonstrates to the public and communities your support of ethical fundraising practices.
With this type of membership, each organisation is able to have two employees or volunteers associated with it. These two people receive all the benefits of FINZ membership listed above in the individual membership section.
Should one or both people associated with the FINZ organisational membership leave your organisation, you may add new people to take their place. This provides greater control and flexibility for the organisation to determine who should be associated with the membership at any time.
