Errol has had a varied career.  Before becoming a fundraiser he was involved in radio and TV, as a producer and manager at National Radio. In 1996 he turned his hand to fundraising and is currently working for The Bible Society.

As an active member of FINZ, Errol is involved at the coalface. In 2008 he was a judge for the prestigious FINZ Fundraising Excellence Awards.  He has been an active member of the Central Division Committee and a member of the National Council for six years, including three years as Vice President from 2002. Errol was also Chair of the 2000 FINZ Conference organising committee.

Errol values the friends he has made while working in the charitable sector and working with people who are some of the most generous in the world.

Being an active member of FINZ has allowed Errol to have access to learning opportunities through conferences, learning lunches and seminars and he has become CFRE qualified. FINZ networking opportunities have allowed him to hear how other fundraisers work and understand the approach of the wider philanthropic sector. Errol also maintains that being a member of FINZ has given him ‘professional’ status.
